Happy 4th of July & the opening of Crabbing season
It’s that time of year again for two of our favorite things. Fireworks and Crab.
Get your crab pot baited because this Friday July 1st is Opening day for crabbing here in the Puget Sound.
Friday afternoon is the Second Street Market. Head on over to Second street between 3 – 7 pm for fresh market items, crafts and entertainment.
The Sun will be shining for weekend and we may be able to say that ‘Summer’ is finally here!!
Sunday July 3rd is the big Freedom Celebration in Freeland. Thousands of people will head to the Freeland Park on Sunday night to eat, listen to live music and watch a fireworks show put on for the 17th annual Celebrate America. Bring your friends and family for food, fun and fireworks.
Monday of course is the big blow out. Starting with the 4th of July parade down at Maxwelton Beach. Hope to see you here!
