Beautiful views can be found everywhere on Whidbey Island. One of my favorites ‘Double Bluff Park’ is just a short drive from Langley. Looking south towards Seattle you can see Mt. Rainier and the very small buildings of the city. What a lovely day for a beach walk.

There’s something fishy going on at the Boatyard Inn

The weather may not be perfect for summer here in the Northwest but the gray skies made for a beautiful photograph. If you are a bird watcher…. even better. This Heron was spotted in Useless Bay which is only a 10 minute drive from the Boatyard Inn
